Banixx - wound care

Any open wound on a chicken needs to be treated immediately since bacteria can quickly enter the blood stream and take down a chicken.  We find Banixx to be extremely effective in fighting bacterial and fungal infections.  It has been very effective in treating chickens that have been attacked by hawks.  Banixx does not contain alcohol or tea tree oil - which makes it sting free - and can be applied near your chicken's eyes.  

We recommend this as part of a first aid kit.

Apply 3x per day.  We also use it on ourselves!
