This is a recently new product that we have had great success in the brooder box. Pine shavings can be an irritant for young chicks' eyes and tiny tiny throats. This bedding is made from 100 percent recycled paper and has natural baking soda added to it to reduce smells for up to 1 week. If the paper gets wet - then it will need to be replaced. This bedding can also be used successfully in the nesting boxes too. The bedding is compostable and urge you to compost .
