Fake Eggs - for nesting boxes

These ceramic eggs are very realistic looking and have the same weight and girth of real eggs. We always recommend that you place fake eggs in your nesting boxes.  This encourages your hens to lay there - but also helps prevent your bored hens from pecking at their just hatched eggs in the nesting box - because chickens also love to eat fresh eggs!  Traditionally, if you were on the farm and had a hen eating her eggs... she would go in the dinner pot.  We doubt you would be able to do that to your gal... so pick up some of these eggs.  We find if you place a giant "X" on the ends - you will be able to identify them from the real ones.

Eggs come in natural brown, white and pastel colors.  The hens are oblivious to their  colors.
